The leaks were true, Blizzard was planning the introduction of The Burning Crusade expansion to WoW Classic, as detailed by some insiders at the end of last year, beyond the surveys carried out by the same developer that gave us an idea of what it’s coming.

The official announcement was made at BlizzCon 2021, Activision Blizzard’s annual conference where they announce all the news for their biggest video games like World of Warcraft Shadowlands, WoW Classic, Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone and more.

With the reveal of the arrival of The Burning Crusade, there were also some details of the content that this expansion will add to the game, although there were also some questions in the air.

Of course, you will not have to worry about gold. No substantial changes have been announced and you will be able to buy WoW classic gold online at without problems once The Burning Crusade is implemented in the game.

Two new races will be added.

One of the main novelties of The Burning Crusade was the addition of two new races to the game: The Blood Elves and the Draenei race. These races give players a wider range of options when creating their characters.

Now, thanks to this expansion, those who are members of the Alliance will be able to use the Shaman class to play, while members of The Horde will be able to choose the Paladins class for their characters.

A big change that represented a simple notice of all the classes and races that would be added to the game in later updates.

Two new locations.

The Azuremyst Isle comes to WoW Classic and serves as the home of the Blood Elves, a site that will be explorable and where new resources and materials can be obtained.

Likewise, the Eternal Song Forest will also be added to the game. This location is home to the Draenei, a race that was heavily used by players at the time this expansion was originally released.

A new profession: Jeweler.

With this new profession, players will be able to create necklaces, gems and rings that they can equip to improve the skills of their characters.

We can fly in Outland.

For the first time in the history of World of Warcraft Classic, players will be able to fly over the map and go more quickly to their destinations.

This change was very well received by players in its day because it allowed them to save a lot of time by reducing transfers and opting for fast trips to go to raids and locations.

We still don’t know if there will be a wipe.

Before the announcement, there was a lot of rumors that said that Blizzard would wipe all the characters before releasing The Burning Crusade. This would mean that all players start from scratch with their characters in the expansion.

At the moment, nothing has been mentioned about it and everything indicates that Blizzard will not opt for such a drastic measure, but it is not confirmed yet.

The leaks say it will be released in the month of May.

Blizzard did not give an official release date for TBC, but several insiders reported last year that the expansion would be released in May.

They even clarify that there will be trial periods during April, so we will have to be vigilant.

WoW Classic is now available worldwide on Microsoft Windows PC and MAC OS.
